About Dunwoody Village
Dunwoody Village is an accredited, continuing-care retirement community located in historic Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Its lush, wooded, eighty-three acre campus offers the convenience of a suburban Philadelphia location, and the peaceful seclusion of a private estate. Couples and single persons age 65 and older have the opportunity to join the Dunwoody community and enjoy their retirement years with an outstanding quality of life.

As an independent Not for Profit 501c3, we are governed by a Board of Trustees (which includes members of the Residents’ Association) and President & CEO, Sherry L. Smyth. Dunwoody was one of the first 50 communities to be accredited as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC).

Dunwoody Village is, and always has been, financially sound. Because we do not have an owner or shareholders, all revenues are invested back into the community. Standard and Poor’s has also rated Dunwoody Village as “Investment Grade.”
