Assisted Living Accommodations
For those who require assistance with daily living, our Assisted Living accommodations combine the freedom and privacy of apartment living with the peace of mind of continual medical care. Assisted Living accommodations are organized in "neighborhoods" of six or seven rooms (each with a unique decor), joined by a common reception area and offering round-the-clock nursing care. Assisted Living accomodations also feature tastefully decorated community kitchens, dining areas, libraries, and common gathering rooms.

Skilled Nursing Accommodations
In Dunwoody Village’s on-site skilled nursing accommodations, residents receive round-the-clock medical supervision from our friendly, caring staff. We are proud to average four nursing hours per day per patient – well above state requirements. And, because all of Dunwoody Village is accessible via indoor walkways, residents in the skilled nursing accommodations enjoy the same amenities as their friends in Assisted Living and the residences. This contributes to better mental and physical health, and a more positive aging experience.

Alzheimer's (Early-Stage Dementia) Unit – Memory Support
For residents dealing with the physical and mental challenges of early-stage dementia and Alzheimer's disease, Dunwoody offers a dedicated Assisted Living wing. Emphasis is placed on the special needs of early-stage dementia – including round-the-clock care, physical and cognitive therapy, and a secure, monitored environment. Cedars West, the Memory Care wing, also features enclosed gardens, walkways and safe areas to stroll and enjoy the outdoors. And, as with our skilled nursing, help is provided for daily tasks like bathing, dressing, medication management, and dining.
