Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation following a surgery, stroke or fall is an important part of any recovery. In some cases, however, getting to a rehab hospital or gym presents an even greater physical challenge. For those clients, Rehabilitation Services from Dunwoody Homecare offers gradual reconditioning and rehab therapy in the comfort, safety and convenience of home.

Under the guidance of a Dunwoody case manager and Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner, our team of physical, occupational and speech therapists will develop a doctor-approved personalized exercise and occupational therapy program. We use a number of everyday activities designed to improve function while conserving energy and help maintain daily independent living. Common activities can include walking the dog, doing light household chores…even making brownies. We’ll also teach caregivers how to safely guide patients through each activity.
